Board Office Staff
Diana Shepard is the Executive Director for the Board of Osteopathic Medicine. Diana is a graduate of Marshall University with a Bachelor's in Business Administration. She comes from a background in Hospital Administration. Diana serves on the Board of Directors of Administrators in Medicine (AIM). She is the AIM Southern Representative which includes Alabama, Florida (MD & DO boards), Georgia, Kentucky, Louisiana, Maryland, Mississippi, North Carolina, Puerto Rico, South Carolina, Tennessee (MD & DO boards), Virgin Islands, Virginia, and West Virginia (MD & DO boards).
Jonathan Osborne, Esquire is the employed legal counsel for the Board. Mr. Osborne is a graduate of the University of Dayton School of Law and received his Juris Doctor, Summa Cum Laude in May 2011. He was ranked first in his class and was a Staff Writer and Publication Editor for the University of Dayton Law Review. He is a member of the West Virginia State Bar Association and is a licensed skydiver.
Melissa Harvey joined the Board's Staff in January 2018 as the Licensure Analyst. She earned a Bachelor of Science in Biology from the University of Charleston in 2011, as well as a Master of Science in Health Care Administration with distinctive marks from Marshall University in 2016. She has been in the field of heathcare for 6 years for insurance, office administration, and most notably medical coding and billing which she had previously instructed several certification classes. She is currently certified as a Basic Life Support provider from the AHA and also speaks Spanish.
Cammie Melton joined the WV Board of Osteopathic Medicine in June 2013. She serves as the Administrative Assistant to the Executive Director. Cammie has twenty years of healthcare experience in both clinical and educational settings.
